But if the folio is a PNG folio wont it lead to a bad font and image resolution on retina displays? And other thing is , we have been doing this way before and it aways worked fine

you're right. the ads are jps files that we simply past into a indesign file. They will never look crisp whem zoomed. So you think that if we delete the ads articles and upload again as png everything...

It should help, and will also reduce your folio size. I agree, you'll have to upload them one by one instead of doing multi-article import. Specifying the format of the article in the sidecar.xml file...
